BROWNSWOOD
Brownswood Recordings is an independent label founded by DJ and broadcaster Gilles Peterson, proudly rooted in London’s vibrant and diverse music community. With a catalogue spanning from its early years to today, the label has become a home for genre-defying sounds inspired by the Black musical canon—jazz, soul, hip hop, and bass music—working with some of the UK’s most innovative artists.
Brownswood will be offering a fantastic selection from across its catalogue, including recent releases such as Emma-Jean Thackray’s Weirdo, Kokoroko’s Get The Message, and Galliano's Halfway Somewhere, along with their new series, Brownswood Remix Editions. Fan favourites like Yussef Dayes’ Black Classical Music, the seminal We Out Here compilation, and Shabaka & the Ancestors' Wisdom of Elders will also be available—plus, of course, some exclusive label merch!
CADILLAC & OGUN
2023/2024 marked the 50th anniversary of Cadillac Records, the DIY label set up by John Jack and pianist/composer Mike Westbrook in 1973 to release Mike’s album Live!, and Ogun Records, which released the famous South African band Brotherhood of Breath's Live at Willisau in 1974.
These British jazz labels prefigured the punk movement in creating artist-run indie labels that went against the trends of the time to produce some of the rawest, most beautiful sounds of the ‘70s and onwards.
They are joining with “niche jazz historians” My Only Desire on the stall to present an opportunity to discover the great improvised music of the '70s and '80s, and to explore the impact that South African musicians the Blue Notes had on the UK scene.
They will have new vinyl and CDs for sale, plus some rare vinyl, test pressings, T-shirts and a display of incredibly rare posters from the period!
CRIMINAL
Criminal Records (established in 2004) is the London home to some of the hottest independent artists in rock, indie and punk.
They’ll be selling coloured and spatter vinyl & CDs from their catalogue, including limited edition copies of The Kut’s UK Number 1 Rock Album ‘GRIT’ and Popes Of Chillitown’s ska-punk chart smash ‘Take A Picture’.
The listening post features Welsh disco-punk’s Stickman, grunge-rockers Argonaut & Liliths Army, and Sheffield indie-pop band Weekend Recovery.
Plus we’ll have copies of Everett True’s book about the discovery of Nirvana ‘Live Through This’

DISTILLER
Distiller Records is a fully independent record label based in London and going strong for over 15 years.
Over recent years, the label has expanded its roster and activities, with established artists such as Reverend and the Makers earning the label’s first Top 10 album with Heatwave In The Cold North (#6, 2023), and a first for the band since their 2007 debut. In May, new signings Sports Team will be releasing third album Boys These Days, produced by Matias Téllez (Girl In Red, CMAT, Gracie Abrams), after two Top Three albums with their previous label.
Also upcoming: the fourth album from The Ramona Flowers, a rock band playing the long game and now at the peak of their career. With the last two singles hitting Top 30 alternative radio in the US (“Up All Night feat. Nile Rodgers” and “Dangerous”), their sights are now on more success at home in the UK. Current roster also includes the up-and-coming rock/hip-hop trio Frozemode, Scottish-Americana rock band Danko and dance-pop star Liv Dawson, all who have released dynamic, exciting projects over recent months.
Previous artists that have graced Distiller’s roster include The Ninth Wave, Cassia, Anteros, Funeral For A Friend, Supergrass’ Danny Goffey and many, many more.
DYNAMITE CUTS
Dynamite Cuts, the home of funky beats, takes the best 2 tunes from classic albums and puts them on a 7”/45rpm format – complete with mini-OG sleeves, faithfully replicating the original albums.
DC is also known for FIRST TIME ON 45 – so if you’re a DJ or a collector, visiting this stall is a must. Expect superb, reissued, quality music, mainly from the 70’s. It’s little sister label, Skyline Recordings, focuses on new and original music with plenty of trip hop, sampling, cut and paste, breaks, and beats. EARTHY MEASURES
Earthly Measures are your locally global independent record label based out of East London. Created by two friends in 2019, the idea behind the concept is to dissolve borders to music, helping to share the sounds and cultures of the world to the UK and beyond.
A strong focus of the label is the Latin electronic scene. Having released records with artists such as El Buho, Joaquin Cornejo, DJ Raff and more, Earthly Measures have developed an identity to this corner of the musical world. Not limited only to the Latin scene, the label explores sounds from across the electronic spectrum whilst maintaining their organic nature-infused core.
On the day, the label will be selling two fresh LP’s that have dropped in 2025; the female-focused fourth iteration of their well-loved compilation series, Earthly Tapes and UK-based Jinje’s ‘We Invisible’, from their newly created sub-label ‘Cult Measures’.
Alongside these, Earthly Measures will also have records from their back catalogue available too, including LP’s from Mente Organica, Santiago Cordoba, Balam and Sidirum, showcasing an array of sounds from downtempo to Bengali-electronic fusion, to Black Sabbath acid re-works and Balearic beauties.

GREENSLEEVES
Greensleeves Records, the iconic U.K. label, has joined forces with mighty Iration Steppas to embark on a journey deep into the echo chamber on their new collaboration, Dubs From The Foundation, which follows on from the critically acclaimed Soundsystem compilations with Channel One Soundsystem and Jah Shaka.
This gatefold double album, carefully curated by the revered Soundman Mark Iration, includes choice vocal cuts from the vaults of the legendary label, which he has championed for nearly forty years, including Jamaican legends such as Michael Prophet, Johnny Osbourne, Hugh Mundell, Wailing Souls and many more. Mark has been at The Vanguard Of Dub throughout his incredible career, so it’s only fitting that we also shine the musical spotlight on Dub as well. So, on the second disc, we have heavyweight Dub counterparts from the likes of Augustus Pablo, Roots Radics and The Revolutionaires to complete the listening experience.
Dubs From The Foundation comes complete with exclusive photographs from Mark’s personal archive plus esteemed photographer Elliot Baxter and original printed inner sleeves designed by longtime Greensleeves collaborator Tony McDermott.
GRINNING DOG
Grinning Dog Records is a small independent record label based in Dorchester, Dorset. Our catalogue includes songwriters just starting out, through to singer-songwriters with a vast catalogue under their belt. One artist, Nick Capaldi, released an all-original Christmas album in 2024, with 12 original songs which proved a massive hit with radio DJs. We strive to support our local music scene and as well as releasing indie musicians’ music, we built a recording studio to provide them with a high-end, local place to record their art.
Grinning Dog Records are also releasing a deluxe edition of Ben Waters’ classic album ‘Boogie 4 Stu’ in memory of Ian Stewart. This release has 4 new bonus tracks, some recorded with Keith Richards and George Thoroughgood. The artist, Ben Waters, recently featured on Cerys Matthews show on BBC R2 where he spoke about the history of the album and played some wonderful Boogie-woogie. The album will be released on 27th May so we will be taking pre-orders at the ILM!

JAZZROOM
Since the first release 5 years ago, Jazz Room Records has released an eclectic and interesting selection of releases.
From the Jazzy commercialism of the Take Vibe version of The Stranglers "Golden Brown" (5,000 vinyl single sales) to the 1960's Headshop Sounds of West Coast Fluteman Eric Ghost.
Other notable releases on Jazz Room include the critically lauded album by Vibraphonist Khan Jamal "Infinity", a compilation of Japanese tough funk fusionists indigo jam unit put together by DJ Colin Curtis, Nuyorican Latin House from Tata Vasquez, Jazz Dance Madchester Rave from Cruisic and some South African Holy Grail grooves from Abacothozi! Check out the Underground Latin J-Jazz of Copa Salvo, first introduced to London by DJ & Music Legend Jean-Claude.
Currently making waves are a lost Jazz Classic album by John Lamkin entittled Hot which changed hands for €400 and more before release and a 300 copy only 10 inch single by Cult Japanese Funk/Fusionists Takumi Moriya Black Nation.

Founded in 2004 by composer Gabriel Prokofiev, nonclassical is a music promoter, record label and events producer presenting the best new classical, experimental and electronic music. None More Records is a genre-bending UK-based independent record label focussed on new music led by Harry Walsh and Sam Bedford. An eclectic imprint that embraces psychedelic grooves, bass-heavy room two electronica and experimental sounds that defy categorisation.

PARTISAN
Partisan Records is an independent record label with offices in London, Berlin, LA and New York City, where the company was co-founded in 2007. Partisan has since cultivated an eclectic roster across all genres, prioritising an artist-friendly philosophy, and achieving international acclaim.
They’ll have test pressings (maybe a few with signatures), exclusives and previously sold-out formats from artists including: IDLES, Ezra Collective, Laura Marling, Cameron Winter, Cigarettes After Sex, PJ Harvey, Fela Kuti, Fontaines D.C., Blondshell and more...
RITMO DEL BARRIO
Ritmo del Barrio is a London-based independent record label dedicated to reviving the hypnotic sounds of vintage Latin American music, with a special focus on Peruvian Chicha. Since launching in 2021, RDB has unearthed rare gems from legendary artists like Los Shapis, Cuarteto Universal, and Los Demonios del Mantaro, working closely with respected Peruvian labels to honor and preserve this rich musical legacy. Beyond reissues, RDB fosters a living culture around Chicha through its Chicha por Favor parties—immersive events where crate diggers and dancers alike come together in celebration of rhythm, groove, and heritage.
For the Independent Label Market, RDB presents two strictly limited 7” polyvinyl exclusives: Super Grupo de Lener Muñoz’s fuzzed-out anthems “Clemencia” and “Comprometida,” reissued for the first time since the early ‘80s, and a deep cut from the roots with Los Demonios del Mantaro’s 1968 Andean cumbia instrumentals “La Botijuela” and “Llévame al Río Cholita.” Each release is hand-numbered, limited to just 15 copies, and offers a rare chance to own a slice of Latin American music history.
SACRED BONES
Sacred Bones Records is an independent record label and publishing company based in Brooklyn, NY. We have spent the last 18 years crafting a critically respected label that is synonymous with forward-thinking music and culture. With over 300 releases under our belt, we’ve had the distinct pleasure to work with legendary artists the likes of Patti Smith, DJ Muggs, and Mort Garson, as well as fostered the respective music careers of film directors David Lynch, John Carpenter, and Jim Jarmusch. We’ve also released career-defining albums by artists like Zola Jesus, Molchat Doma, Amen Dunes and Spellling, and retain our cult underground following as well through smaller curated releases from some of the best punk and experimental artists.
Sacred Bones will have a limited signed vinyl of Lost Themes IV: Noir and Anthology II by the legendary John Carpenter, plus limited signed LPs of Molchat Doma’s breakthrough album Etazhi. We’ll also have some of our latest releases from Q Lazzarus, Spellling, Anika, and Sextile, each in their most limited vinyl editions, along with a sleuth of soft merch offerings.
SAPIEN
Sapien Records Ltd is a label from North East England. Artists vary from pop artists feat. on Netflix and Disney, to heavy rock (releases prod. Steve Albini and Ross Robinson), to folk-rock brass bands, singer-songwriters, gabber, trip-hop and much more. Vinyl, cassettes, CD’s, Badges, Tshirts will be available on the day.
SKEP WAX
Skep Wax Records specialises in indie pop and punk music. Initially set up by Rob Pursey and Amelia Fletcher to release music by their own bands (Heavenly, Swansea Sound, The Catenary Wires) the label now has a significant roster, including some of the best UK indiepop and post-punk groups like Sassyhiya and The Gentle Spring.
At the stall, there will be copies of the brand-new album by poet Brian Bilston and The Catenary Wires ’Sounds Made By Humans’. Customers will get a special signed postcard with every purchase!
SLOWFOOT
South London based record label, exploring the boundaries between popular and experimental music - an esoteric blend of krautrock, avant-whatever, jazz, dub and electronica.
Recent releases include a quirky 12” EP from electronic duo Clever Bunny, a limited edition cassette and T-shirt bundle from Middle Name John of his stunning debut album ‘Obviously Confidential’, and the brilliant recent LP by VÄLVĒ entitled ‘Tiny Pilots’. We will also be selling last remaining copies of LP’s from Hello Skinny and Soccer96, including the last remaining [Orange 1/5] copy of ‘Rewind’, as well as various T’s, test pressings [some signed] and special deals on cd’s, vinyl and cassettes from the catalogue including The Grip, Monkey Puzzle Trio, Phall Fatale and Syd Nukuluk and others mentioned above.
SLY-TONE
sly-tone is an independent label and collective, founded in London in 2019.
Working across the margins of experimental pop, ambient, electronic and folk, sly-tone has quietly built a catalogue of over sixty releases. Home to artists including Noah Yorke, Høier and Tara Pasveer, the roster spans new artists and long-time collaborators, all united by a DIY spirit and a shared interest in exploring the alternative.
sly-tone will be selling a range of limited edition cassettes, CDs, vinyl and apparel — including rare early pressings and recent highlights from across the label’s catalogue!
STUDIO BATSUMI
Studio Batsumi, a London-based independent label founded by Federico and Marta; will be taking part in the Independent Label Market for the first time this year. Established a year and a half ago, the label has been slowly building its presence in the music scene.
Their first release, Cosmicomics, came out in May last year and was well received by friends, music enthusiasts, and record shop owners. Without relying on a physical distributor, Federico and Marta have personally carried the record with them on their travels, gradually sharing it with listeners. Cosmicomics is a five-track EP featuring three original tracks, a remix by Jonny Rock, and an edit on the B-side. At the market, Studio Batsumi will be selling the last remaining copies of the debut release, along with label merchandise and a selection of records from their personal collection. They will be sharing a stand with Caravan, a London-based vintage Japanese bookstore.
STICKY BUTTONS
Sticky Buttons is a London based record label specialising in vinyl releases of globally sourced sounds, both contemporary and via reissue. The label first came to prominence with Sweet Music, the first ever compilation of legendary Nigerian boogie singer Dizzy K. Since then SB have followed up with multiple genre spanning releases, including first ever vinyl pressings of Dennis Mpale, Natacha Fink, and most recently a follow up second volume in the Sweet Music series. With an ear for the unusual, a contagious irreverent style and a growing eclectic catalogue, Sticky Buttons keeps followers guessing ‘What’s Next'?
Sticky Buttons will be selling a range of records and merch from their catalogue, including special signed editions of Dizzy K. Sweet Music Volume II + limited screen printed editions of Carlos Aguasvivas Fire - Eclipse of The City. Various Test pressings will be available on the day as well as remaining stocks of T-Shirts and posters, featuring exclusive designs by frequent collaborators Alex Ram & Callen Neasmith.

Transgressive is a label, publishing and management group currently commemorating 20 years at the forefront of independent music culture.
To celebrate its return to the Independent Label Market, Transgressive will be selling a variety of unique items - including a signed Johnny Flynn 'Lost In The Cedar Wood' reissue on transparent green vinyl, exclusively available a month before its official release date.
We’ll have signed test pressings, lyric sheets and prints from the likes of Arlo Parks, Beverly Glenn Copeland, Moonchild Sanelly and The Moonlandingz among others, as well as exclusive formats of recent releases.
